GIMMICK: A veteran who recently came out of retirement for personal reasons, this hall of famer has some loose ends to tie-up before retiring for good. Matsuda is eager to test the new generation of women's wrestlers and show the world that she's still one of the best to ever do it before heading back into the sunset.  

CHARACTER BIOGRAPHY: The original sensei of Black Dahlia Legacy's Black Tora, Stephanie "Cloud" Matsuda is one of the pioneers of the "joshi resurgence" of the mid 2010s. Some say her prolific reign as JET World Champion from 2014-2015 was the catalyst as she was someone "different" from the usual "joshi ace" given her mixed Japanese/Afro-American ethnicity. After announcing her return to wrestling, Cloud plans on a limited run in some promotions of her choice including OWA where she's a Hall of Famer, PWN where she was its inaugural Unified World's Heavyweight Champion, and her home of PWJET, a place she once co-owned with Azumi Goto. Cloud's interest in MGP is simple: she has a deep respect for its co-founder and the veterans who run the factions, including Endo. She wants to test her mettle against other joshi legends she's yet to face as well as the next generation of stars so she can fully retire for good with no regrets.   

ENTRANCE (OPTIONAL): "King of the Clouds" by Panic! At The Disco comes on as Matsuda walks out with her signature googles and bandanna around her face. The crowd erupts as Mastuda poses for a moment and makes her way towards the ring. She gives a couple of fans high fives and jumps to the apron where she climbs up the nearest turnbuckle to the top. She takes off her bandanna and googles, tossing them into the crowd before jumping down. She kisses the Shinto beads around her wrist and mumbles a small prayer before the start of the match.

BIOGRAPHY: With Stephanie coming out of retirement, Monica figured it'd be a good idea to travel with her wife along the "joshi circuit" now that they moved to Tokyo. Monica was her manager before during one of Matsuda's world title reigns back in 2018, a year before they got married. Monica is the half-sister of the late Brody Sparks, who was an ally of Cloud when they were in The Coven. They met through Brody and were together ever since.
