*The scene opens up on the Stargazer press conference after the event on 3/11. Xia Layne is already sat at the table, having barely broken a sweat. She sits and awaits one of the reporters to ask a question…after 10 seconds of waiting, she grabs the microphone and begins to speak*
The greatest fear anyone can endure is the fear of the unknown…*she lets out a slight chuckle* BUT WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE UNKNOWN DECIDES THAT DEATH IS THE ONLY OPTION FOR YOU!? That’s what happened to me from a very young age, I have grown up in the mean streets of Chicago, scratching and clawing my way up from the very bottom and I watched the people I held dear, those I chose to befriend disappear. Madison Archer, Angela Pho, and even my own father decided that I didn’t belong in this business but I set out on the deathmatch scene with a goal in mind and that was to prove every single person who ever doubted me wrong. I set out to show the world that the fear of the unknown is secondary to the fear of stepping into that squared-circle against the Killah Queen! Oh, wait, I’m guessing you guys don’t know who I am so I guess it’s up to me to tell you about myself!
Hi, I’m Xia Layne, I’m the American Queen of the deathmatch, I have traveled all around the world perfecting this craft, and just like you always feared…I have come to Japan! I just showed the world that I’m more than willing to take down your pathetic heroes and leave them in a heap, but what happens when I face those you deem as Goddesses…what happens when Xia Layne destroys those you deem legends and proves that you all should have been worried about the storm that was coming…You should have worried about the hurricane on the horizon rather than the slight breeze coming from the other direction but you didn’t do that because you didn’t realize that this hurricane came with malicious intent…*she smiles into the camera*
*She pulls up her trusty barbed-wire bat and sets it on the table* Shuko MURDER-gun demands violence and they sent out the request for me to bring my unique brand of it to those who have become complacent! I’m here to take the world down and like I posted on social media…I’m not here for miracles…I’m here for the MURDER! I sent Gwen Striker back to LA in a sling, and she was just in my way for one night…WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU’RE BETWEEN ME AND CHAMPIONSHIP GOLD!? I’m more than willing to send people to the morgue, and I promise each and every one of you…if you’re going to step up…you better be ready to get shut down!
