I could turn this into a rambling account of all the great R&B/Soul singers I grew up on, so I'll give my favorite that's NOT that genre.
Sharon den Adel of Within Temptation. But funny enough not for her own band's stuff.
She guest starred on an electronic track that I still love to this day. Her voice is perfectly haunting yet mixes so well with the track.

Dude's not considered to have the greatest pure singing voice but it is a highly unique one.

It's hard to choose just one, but Chris Stapleton's voice is just ridiculous. It's the combo of his voice and delivery I'm sure, but dude kills it.
I always loved Kurt Cobain. The rasp and harshness of his voice is impossible to forget.
I also low-key love some Alicia Keys.
