What is a book (novel, comic, any type) that you would like to see receive a proper movie adaptation? Can be something that's already been made, but not to your satisfaction.

There was a Christopher Pike book that I probably read in high school, which was a very long time ago, called Monster. It always stuck with me that I would like to see a movie of it. I wonder if I read it today if I'd still feel the same.

A proper adaptation of World War Z. One that actually follows the structure and tone of the book instead of slapping the title onto a movie that's wholly unrelated to it. It'd have to be a slow burn mini series, probably made in part as a fictional documentary.
