Do you have an issue using a dead person for a picbase?

Not really? Like I can see the discomfort in it all where someone would just make a character that is just "oh it's just this person with a different name" or probably some edge cases. But overall I don't see too much of an issue since in essence it is supposed to be a different person.

No. I'd even go further and say I have no issue with dead people being used in real wrestler feds. In theory. Because I don't know how you have it make sense, and how you'd make it credible, unless you simply chose to completely ignore history. But if you do that for the dead person, then you have to do that for the alive people, too. So. In theory. In a nutshell, I see nothing objectionable or disrespectful about it, though it doesn't seem very pragmatic.

Personally I do not, when I use a pic base it’s never been because “it fits” it’s always out of love for the wrestler. As long as you don’t make fool of yourself or of their memory.

Depends on how recently they passed away. Like if someone changed their picbase to Bray Wyatt this early, I may have an issue with it.
I personally have no issues with it (I've thought about using Test, Lance Cade, etc. in the past) but I have a problem when it's a recent passing.

No. SWF is filled with them. In this world, it's just a visual representation of what they COULD look like.
In real wrestling fedding, I was 100000000% against deceased wrestlers because you ARE that person.

I used to find it weird. Then I got over it. Now it wouldn't faze me long as a CAW fed. Heck I always get a "How can I use Chyna as a picbase?" occasional itch if not for I have no place to do so.
A real fed? Not unless the fed is set in a time period they were alive. Example: Retro early 90s show with Dusty Rhodes? Go for it babeh.

It's not something I usually think about. I never did real wrestler feds and don't use wrestler pic bases. My bases are all people I've never heard of before finding them through way too much searching.
I am not sure how I would feel if I did things differently and had to encounter the situation. I can see why this makes it a good question of the day. There's a lot to consider with it.
