Quantum of Solace was such a let down coming off of Casino Royale that it took everything from the first film and put it in such a light that it is hard to watch Royale without knowing where everything goes.

Nope. How could you enjoy much of anything if that were the case? Bad sequels don't make the movies that came before bad to me. I just don't include the lousy sequels in future viewing experiences. Robocop 3 does not have the power to spoil Robocop 1. Instead, I just make it sit in the corner where it belongs.
