If you were forced to roleplay with a character type that you dislike or think you generally wouldn't do well with, what's your nightmare scenario?

I wouldn't say it's a nightmare scenario, but I certainly try and draw on experiences I've had in my life. A character like Darby Allin or someone like that where they've had to do it all on their own their whole life is tough for me to relate to and write from. I think it's important sometimes in this world and hobby to put yourself in uncomfortable situations and try and write different characters from different backgrounds. I've written a lot of characters in my life, but I find the dark and brooding person who had no parents and no support and was on his own at 13...I don't know, I just struggle with it. I feel like my attempts have been disingenuous and flat. Of course, I've written all kinds of weird characters decently well and maybe there's something to be said about that (on another question of the day haha). The Darby-esque character style has always been a struggle for me.

Something gothy like Undertaker or Raven. I always thought people handling Raven made it look fun and then I realized very quickly I had nothing to write about.

I don't have much of a nightmare scenario but a character like Ted Dibiase or a rich character wouldn't be the best. I struggle with putting myself into their shoes and it'd just turn into a Trump parody towards the end.

Anything overtly comedic would kill me graveyard dead. I'm only good with comedic material when I'm in total "don't give a damn" mode and by that point, it's probably more mean-spirited than actual funny comedy.

The arrogant trash talker with the fancy happy home life they mostly ignore. Granted, i already have thoughts on the skewed approach i would take if i were forced to play it. Trying to do something different with it might actually turn into fun

I'm not really sure I have one. I've tried to play a multitude of characters over the years, probably due to my creative brain and always coming up with different characters and scenarios. Not saying I'm good at any of them, but there's not really one I can say I would hate to write.

You all gave me it. It was The Acclaimed.
A Mariah May wouldn't be easy but I could get by, I think. The Acclaimed-types are impossible. The New Age Outlaws would've been a nightmare, consequently. Not sure who else fits the bill.

I am unable to get anything over them. They always have to have the last word. Even if it's unplanned, they have to throw in a random promo to make me look awful and make them look the best.
Same note, but also when we come up with a plan, but one person can't do it, so instead of agreeing to go with a different plan, the other character takes the reins and does their own stuff completely off the radar that simultaneously makes them look like a god and you look secondary.

Dupree was easy. Cage wasn't abysmal.
