Also... I'd say Knights of the Old Republic but there's been enough Star Wars movies.
So... probably Jade Empire, Mafia 1 and 2 (though I suppose been enough gangster movies too), and... well most JRPGs are anime or are actually turned into anime so I suppose no point going there.
Oh! Red Dead Redemption 2.

Fun fact: Kingdom Hearts was set to get a show. Square Enix pulled the plug on it because they said they had ideas for more games so I think they didn't want to work with the show's canon but some production materials have surfaced including the animatic of episode one. It looked like a fun time. I'd second this and throw in American McGee's Alice. I've heard one's in development but with streaming canceling every show? I don't have high hopes. |

Lil update to this: I was thinking about this question further and I said why is there no movie for Animal Crossing? It would be very cozy and fun, since the villagers have so much personality even if the game has no plot...
Turns out, there is; Gekijōban Dōbutsu no Mori - so if you were also wondering... lol problem solved and I am very excited to watch this tonight.
