Are there any books or other material you recommend to help me familiarize myself with wrestling? Like, as a foundation or base to go off?

Watching the product helps. If not the entire show, then clips on Twitter and Instagram. Reddit had some subs that’ll help expose you to new people and concepts as well.
Especially with this being Joshi and foreign, look up Stardom and TJPW to see how they operate to familiarize yourself with this concept
