What's been your biggest surprise of MGP so far? What's something now after 2 months of shows, you'd wish you'd have known before? 1. I'm blown away by the number of people that have joined with very little or no e-fed experience. It's flattering to see so many people of different experiences, skill levels, and backgrounds take a chance on the concept. I expected the fed to do "okay" because the created wrestler scene is booming compared to the barely breathing real wrestler circle I came from, but it's wildly exceeded my expectations in every single way.
2. I learn something new with every cycle. We're all just bumping and learning at this stage. Me, the handlers, everyone, we're all in a different and unique situation with the concept. For example, entrances are going away (except for special occasions) to allow more time for me in the results writing process. I'm also considering an adjustment to the application process where new members aren't immediately slotted into a faction. This would allow for less confusion in who belongs to what faction due to new signings or no shows and would make faction spots feel "earned" as you'd get slotted into your "preferred" faction after you've shown for a show or two. Just an idea for now.

Would you ever consider a "draft" or faction shake-up the way Stardom does annually? Obviously not asking NOW. Just curious if a future plans thing.

It's not currently in the works but it's something I've considered, but probably not on a grand scale. Maybe eventually allowing a faction leader to pick off one member of an opposing faction rather than a full-on draft.
Once some groups are more established, we'll see more stuff of this nature.

With the thick roster, do you foresee more titles being developed? I still have to introduce the trios titles later in the year. I have an idea for another belt and what it would look like but I'm not in a rush to go that direction yet. Once the double shot is over, we'll have four active titles. Trios will make five, scheduled to be crowned in September.

How are you feeling so far about writing faction warfare as a main focus throughout the show versus say two big stable and then a rest of 1:1 or tag team feuds.
Any major differences? Any things that really stand out from a writer standpoint?

How are you feeling so far about writing faction warfare as a main focus throughout the show versus say two big stable and then a rest of 1:1 or tag team feuds. Any major differences? Any things that really stand out from a writer standpoint? The biggest challenge is figuring out who gets involved and where. When is the right time for a full faction to come to their member's aid, when should they mind their business, when should it be one particular person instead of another. There has to be thought put into it or you run the risk of having Kasey Vex getting involved in 6 matches on the card. You've got to figure out when is the right time to use Kasey Vex versus Mirai Yamada for the angle so you don't overexpose a character.
You also have to worry about how those choices present to the reader. Does it mean something different if Kasumi Nijima saves Black Tora from a beatdown instead of Madeliene Satterfield? I have to be constantly aware of of who has won, who has lost, who was involved, and the psychology that goes along with all of those factors. It's been a trend that Shuko MURDER-gun matches get nastier and more filled with interference if they eat a couple losses earlier in the show. By their last match on the card, it's basically six people blatantly interfering. That's the nature of that faction and how they react to adversity.
Meanwhile, Sayaka Endo's Black Dahlia Legacy culture leans more toward "fight and win, or don't but don't come back here crying about it." She's not gonna send Kasumi to interfere on Costanza's behalf. So, yeah. It's difficult having to be fully aware of all these moving parts at the same time when it could've been a traditional fed where everyone has their own business and that's that.

I remember ordering apple juice with chocolate syrup at Sonic once and the lady on the other end of the speaker just saying "is... is that really what you want?"

What's one thing you've always wanted to do but haven't had the chance to yet? I apologize. I missed this one somehow.
I'm not really sure I have a satisfying answer to this question. Considering things that aren't impossible, I'd like to write something worth publishing at some point. Maybe one day.

Also for something more fun. If you could re-write a real life wrestling angle, what would it be and how? Besides Codygeddon that just happened I mean lol

I can't think of anything from days gone by that I'd like to change. Maybe I'd turn that Wrestlemania main event into a three way with Punk vs. Dwayne vs. Cena, give Punk his Mania event and see how that trickles down into today.
I also wouldn't have had Mox squash Punk three days before the PPV. A better angle would have been Punk squashing Mox and then wrestling literally anyone else.

What are a few efed storylines you've wanted to write as an admin but just never got the chance to, and conceivably won't?

What are a few efed storylines you've wanted to write as an admin but just never got the chance to, and conceivably won't? As an admin, I'm pretty much limited to SGW stories, lol.
I had some really vile stuff planned for the world title feud between Edge and Raven in SGW '06. It was going to be really dark, which was a consistent theme for both of their characters around that time. I'd need multiple trigger warnings to explain what some of the plans were and it's not an angle that I would do today because it pushes the bounds of good taste. Unfortunately (fortunately?), I got really burned out following WrestleBrawl 2 and that run of SGW ended shortly after.
I also wish that we could have properly blown off The Origin storyline as intended. That one was out of my control, though. Getting a third warehouse dropped in my lap with almost zero notice took my head straight out of the game. My idea for the elimination tag main event was for Danielson to tag in and immediately destroy Ruby Riott (his own partner, for those not privy to the angle) and walk out on the match, abandoning SGW. Then whatever happened in the finish would have happened but it would have led to Ruby challenging Danielson for the Real World Championship at Holiday Hell.

Was there ever a storyline you've planned/booked as an admin that changed course from the way you planned? Not like in terms of someone quitting or getting banned, but the handlers were there but the story just changed due to whatever reason.
Oh also not including unfortunate deaths

Was there ever a storyline you've planned/booked as an admin that changed course from the way you planned? Not like in terms of someone quitting or getting banned, but the handlers were there but the story just changed due to whatever reason. Oh also not including unfortunate deaths I mean, honestly, there's always plans changing and evolving for one reason or another. You have an idea for what you wanna do and someone steps up that you didn't expect and suddenly you need to figure them in to bigger plans... or someone underperforms and you need to shuffle them down the card a bit so they're not over their head. Either of those situations can impact a storyline one way or another.
Sometimes it happens a little more dramatically, where someone steps up or underperforms in a title match and suddenly you're figuring out what to do with a new champion on top of the challengers who already had programs with the champ that dropped the ball. Those are always fun.
It's honestly such a fluid thing that happens so often in fedding that I can't pinpoint one exact example. That element of surprise, though, that's one thing that makes fedding addictive to me and why I don't stick with just doing fantasy booking projects. Sure, it's fun having complete control of a show but it's that human element that makes things unpredictable and keeps me on my toes. It's fun to solve those problems when they arise.
And now that I've said all that, something did come to me. When SGW World Champion Val Venis got canceled in 2020 like a week out from his title defense against Kevin Nash and we had to figure out how to book around Kevin Nash as world champion in 2020... and then send him to Saudi Arabia to defend the title against Adam Cole. Yeah, that was a big one. lol

What do you consider right now to be the "#2" belt after Interstellar? Or are they all equal? In theory, they're all equal beneath the Interstellar Dream as they all serve different purposes. The Dual Wield title is the top prize for tag teams. The RONIN Galaxy title is a "take on all comers" belt and the only title that can be defended against part-timers or non-faction affiliated competitors. The Love Song of Violence is a deathmatch championship.
