GUIDELINES
AMBIENT CHARACTER USE
Please do not use ownership-level staff without permission. You may freely use commentators, interviewers, and trainers. Do not have your character attack any of the above without permission.
USING ANOTHER HANDLER'S CHARACTER
You must have permission from another handler to use their character in your roleplay. Use of another handler's character without permission, or using their character in a way that was not agreed upon after being given permission will result in forfeiture of your scheduled match.
POSTING YOUR ROLEPLAY
You may post your roleplay directly to the forum with BBCode or use an external site. We do not prefer one over the other and it will not impact the outcome of your match. If you need help with either method, reach out to management and we will be glad to help you.
KEYS TO SUCCESS
QUALITY OVER QUANTITY: While there are no word limits for main roster Miracle Galaxy Pro events, IZANAMI: Young Lioness Academy does cap roleplays at 1,000 words. Understand that hitting the cap does not guarantee a victory over an opponent who didn't. 500 great words will always beat 1,000 good ones.
COLD OPEN: With a 1 RP limit, it is a requirement that you write your roleplay cold without replying to your opponent's previous post. While there's no word limit and Miracle Galaxy Pro is very lenient on the amount of match relevance you have to include, it's still unfair to use your opponent's material from the same cycle to spice up your own work and give you an advantage. BEING IN CHARACTER: Your character is what you make it. We encourage you to be creative and try new things, but be consistent with your character's behavior or provide justification in your narrative for why something may cause them to act one way or another. Just because it's a created character doesn't mean you shouldn't have boundaries for how that character can/will act.
MATCH RELEVANCE: While you won't be jobbed out if you don't use 75% of your roleplay to talk about your match, you are expected to at least acknowledge that you have a match. You're training in Japan, your matches should hold some manner of importance. Tell your story but respect your opponent and the dojo enough to acknowledge them, even in passing.
RESULTS RELEVANCE: If your character gets jumped backstage by a rival, mention it, play up the injuries or lack thereof, and make what happened to you relevant as part of your larger story. If something unrelated to your character happens but it's a big enough deal that your character would know about it, have your character mention it (even something that occurs on a main roster Miracle Galaxy Pro event!). Immerse yourself in the world of Miracle Galaxy Pro and IZANAMI.
MIRACLE GALAXY PRO: Your IZANAMI character will appear on main roster events, serving the role of a ringside "young girl," providing water and aid to competitors, while occasionally taking damage while cushioning dives or generally getting in the way. Pay attention to main show results and use these interactions to flesh your character out.
COMMON DECENCY: Comments directed at your opponent related to racism, homophobia, or sexual assault will not be tolerated and will result in forfeiture of your match and/or removal from the community. If you are confused about this and think your roleplay might violate this rule, please reach out to me before you post it and we can discuss whether or not your material is appropriate.

CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT ROLEPLAYS
You may post a Character Development Roleplay at any time. If you are NOT BOOKED at the time you post one, you will be rewarded with a dark match win on the pre-show over one of the enhancement talents. Character Development Roleplays DO NOT have to have match relevance. If you'd like to have an assigned dark match opponent to talk about for your CD, reach out to me and I'll give you an enhancement talent to RP against.
DEADLINE INFORMATION
The final roleplay deadline can be found on the card for each cycle. Please pay attention as the deadline may change from time to time as my posting availability may differ. The results deadline will be 72 hours after the final roleplay deadline to allow me time for any necessary rewrites due to no shows and to give you the best experience possible. [updated: 4/21/23]
COMMUNICATION
Real life happens. Most of us are adults. If you do not think you're going to get your roleplay up by the final deadline, please reach out and let me know. I won't take you off the roster just because something came up. If you no-show without communication, you will not be booked for the next show. You will need to post a character development roleplay during the next cycle or take part in STARGAZER in order to be booked afterward. If you do not post a character development roleplay and continue to avoid communication, we will remove your character(s) from the roster.
