I remember one WWE 2k game I bought brand new, can't remember the year but it was the first one that featured Paige and I think Virgil was a free DLC character. I sat down on day one, started it up, saw it had the most bare bones CAW feature of any game I've ever played since CAW became a thing, then played one match and got INSTANTLY pinned because the kickout mechanics were minigame bullshit. Never played it again, sold it to Gamestop for like fifty cents last year.
Also, had one of those classic OG Playstation demo discs. Had a game called Fighting Force on it which was a 1-4 player beat'em up type game. It was slick, fluid gameplay. Just tremendous fun. I bought the actual game when it released and not only were the graphics worse, but the gameplay was like your characters were fighting underwater. Don't know if I've ever felt more ripped off by a game.
