Is there any goal you set for a particular character that you never achieved? Why?

I always wanted to be a Triple Crown or Grand Slam champion in SGW with Edge or Christian but it never came to fruition. I obviously had an amazing run with them and set some records, so I can't be tore up. I admired Matt as a writer and wanted to be like him and how Chavo kept collecting belt after belt.

Honestly, I feel like I accomplished everything I wanted/could have on Chavo Guerrero and Alex Shelley. If I could do it again, I probably would have approached my last run as Shelley differently and probably NOT brought him back for the last go around and retired him on top as the IC Champ. It was weirdly satisfying that I won the IC title from Marshall in a show set in my hometown haha.
I think I would have liked to have had more of an opportunity with Matt Cardona, however. I think I could have had a good run there.

I can think of a couple. There have been a couple attempts I've made at writing Mayu Iwatani in places. One I set the goal of winning the title there and it failed through a combo of my typical 'doing too much at once instead of focusing in' and fighting uphill against popular long tenured handlers there. Another I kind of set up a heel version at SGW Kills and then never actually did anything with it anywhere. I think I wanted her to team up with one of her new Oedo Tai teammates and win the TwinStar titles. Knowing how things have gone since then that heel turn would've been for nothing because I'd keep writing her face like by accident.
In IIW, besides the reasons Ichiko flopped which I've already discussed, I had two aims. From the start to have a melodramatic story of her splitting up with her girlfriend and then the two fighting each other after a good build up (because wrestling). After some awful booking, I decided Ichiko needed to seize the secondary title for herself. Then I ended up leaving and nothing ever came of it.

Women's championship with Hyper Misao it was always a longshot and I ultimately blame a mid tier effort against a white hot Alexa Bliss. But hey that's the big one and I have nothing to be ashamed of either way with that.

I wanted Sonya to reign with some gold for a bit.
I also wanted Ryan Nemeth to be World Champion and the Wingmen to be a satire of Evolution.
