I'll get my usual feedback up tomorrow, along with a fresh STARGAZER.
I appreciate all of you.

I probably need to process it a bit more for my end. I really need to stop saying "Losing is okay as long as good story" when clearly it still stings due to the emotional investment in the character. And like Josh's warning said, it was quite a few heartbreakers (no pun on the actual team).
But my vanity aside.... Congrats to Chloe Storm and everyone tonight! I know the match with Cap is going to blow the roof off the show!
Seriously an amazing show as ever. As someone who was in Requiem, I can't say enough how much I love the use (re-use? re-imagining?) of what you had before. Seeing Yuna tied to the sacrifice scene in this new version immediately popped me and obviously the end of "OH SHIT WE'RE GOING TO THE SHRINE" and seeing the Muramasa Belt was huge.
But even if I hadn't known some of the influencing lore, it was compelling and riveting from top to bottom. The nearly undefeatable table gag was a nice touch in between all the seriousness and the deathmatch going through out the show was a blast. Reminded me of when you did that on the SGW for with the Jinder and crew.
Also I love as always the care and attention in the matches themselves. Not just in the commentary but the moves and action (example: Biting Tora's mask early on made me pop).
The passion and care shines through so much as I'm personally stung, I found myself smiling at the end. I definitely look forward to seeing where this crazy, chaotic road takes us!

First off, much respect to Dave. One of the best writers I have ever had the privilege of going up against. What a triple threat that was. I was kind of hoping to get an easier match this coming month, but the hits just keep coming in MGP.. which is an exciting and motivating thing. Zelda was a tremendous Interstellar Champion, as her RP for the tournament was near perfection. I have no doubt she'll get another shot at it. Whoa boy, this show, huh? MGP in February: we love joshi puroresu! MGP in June: HERE'S MYSTERY AND SHRINES AND LORE AND A HEEL IN A MASCOT COSTUME THAT GETS ALL OF IT REMOVED EXCEPT FOR THE HEAD We're very lucky to have someone like Josh writing results. It's without question that he's invested in this project and what's written comes from a passion and legitimate care about the product itself. It's so much easier to write what you love and that passion is contagious. So much goes into this game and you have to think ahead, so props to Josh for slow burns and telling stories instead of just jizzing out a shrine and some mystery lore on Twitter to bump a stupid e-fed ripoff concept (looking at you, Triple Triangle Fed on Twitter). Having ran a successful fed with Josh before, I know this stuff is detailed down to the science and everyone has a reason for existing. The show itself. Man, Matt and Anthony just tear the house down every time they face one another. Two writers I idolized in the game when I started out, and two people I consider great friends. Sometimes you write great stuff and it just gets beat. Sometimes you write great stuff and sneak out a win. Big night for Gaijin Assault Army. I am saddened that I was the lone member to let everyone down. Big win for Tagg, snagging a brand new championship LWA created specifically for MGP's membership some months back. This lore was dark. It's also becoming something I look forward to every show now. I open results, see if I won (you all do it, too) and then look for the lore. Richard Rath and the Black Company are some bad apples. I'm hooked on what's going on. I like that the attendance slowly grows over time, especially with this being a 'big four' show. "I can never unsee that floppy leg." I love the injury. It's real and also shows the dangers of the match itself. It also shows why you wouldn't no show. Botches and injuries happen. A nice wrinkle of Black Tora not wanting a doctor because they'd make her remove the mask. If you had told me I'd be in a fed where HULK HOGAN was a pic base for someone, I'd be confused. Thunderin' Terry rules. The fed admin himself is a nice guy and TPW seems like a good fed. Was nice to see some more co-promotional stuff here. It's things like this that make the CAW side of things fun and engaging. Shinobu Tsutsumi is becoming one of my favorite characters in this universe. The handler also continues writing good pieces of business as well. The match carrying on past the initial stage was a nice touch. Huge pop. "DAAaaAAAAAaaaaAAAAD! SHE WON'T STAY FREAKIN' DOWWWWWWWWWWN!" Legendary. Pinky promises ARE unbreakable. Takayo Kotohiki continues being delightful, if not an everpresent thorn in the side of the innocent Mark Romero. Blow this feud off at the Shrine in October. The Celestial Trinity belts are beautiful, and if the GAA win, I call dibs on the green one. SHINOBU TSUTSUMI via PINFALL in 2:02:31 HEARTKILLERS versus Kasey Vex and Aoi was a close match. I think littlemissvex gets better every show, but not featuring Aoi in the promo part of the RP hurt. Just seemed like Aoi was there but then disappeared when she's VERY consequential to what's going on in the entire company. The HEARTKILLERS are excellent writers, and if they'd add another 1-2k on their RPs, would be 100% unstoppable. Costanza Caponata looked like a million bucks tonight. In my opinion, Dave should've won the GPC and that I was lucky to advance to the finals then, so it's nice seeing him get the belt. Two excellent writers and I hope I never face them again. Okay, now to the meat and the potatoes: Josh and I learned how to do graphics, basic stuff, months ago. Through trial and error, practice, YouTube and everything else - Josh has surpassed me and turned into a machine! That Devil Matsumoto graphic? Legendary. The photo of the island and cliffs with a boat and a Shrine on it? Man made that himself. It looks FLAWLESS! Doing graphics was once an Achilles' heel. In the old days, you'd promise some scrub a title shot for a PPV banner. Go on CAW-Twitter long enough and you'll see some GHASTLY rotten graphics. Be appreciative of the time and effort that go into stuff like this that Josh makes. It isn't easy and it adds to the visual of the story. The forum is beautiful, the show logos are top tier, match cards, all of this stuff adds up and matters. It's why MGP is the best fuckin' CAW fed around. Kudos to Josh and everyone for the efforts this cycle.

Some initial notes: excellent work overall. The lore to kick off the show and emphasize Yuna was a nice tone-setter.
The villain zoom meeting and the cryogenic chamber...it keeps everything brooding and serious while at the same time complimenting it with the right amount of lightheartedness. Seeing Sojiro in the room, too, adds an interesting wrinkle to everything. He has a lot at stake in the recent developments, to say the least. The return of The Shrine doesn't surprise me. We knew it was coming, and it's the perfect backdrop to what's about to go down.
Satterfield and Watts should be a classic. A nice inner-faction battle between the most mature woman in the faction and the most immature woman in the faction. I'll let you guess who is who.
The initial photo of the ring and the crowd was a really cool touch. RQM used to have those, I think, and they always add a big sense of realism to things.
I popped big for Thunderin' Terry cupping his ear. Shame he ate the salt.
Ayame and Shinobu are two giant psychopaths. I didn't expect something to go off-camera like that. It's a good example (and my knowledge is limited here) of integrating less traditional Japanese elements into the show, while also still preserving plenty of those too. Shuko plays dirty, of course.
Kasumi and Storm was an extremely well-executed match. Both writers put forth a stellar effort, and I'm looking forward to what they put out next. It always sucks when your character taps, but I know Anthony will salvage it, as Kasumi has really begun to click.
All in all, I'm honored to be the champion, and I fully endorse the post-match promo that was written. Yuna trying to reject her demons, as it were, will give Zelda a lot to chew on. She's one of the strongest characters I've faced, including here and at the Galaxy Princess Cup tournament (indirectly). Zelda knows her stuff and is a complete writer, and has definitely motivated me to push myself further. It's nice to tee off with Scott too, maybe. In all seriousness, Aria Knight is by far the baddest woman in MGP, and the growth Aria has had since the start of MGP is huge. Scott's hit his stride with Knight both at the tournament and here. Pretty much, facing off with many people here is a 50/50 coin flip every time, so I never envy the match-decider.

I did not know what to expect at all for the outcome of my match with Nijima (Chloe Storm vs Kasumi Nijima). Honestly, I don't envy Josh in this scenario. Anthony, you wrote an amazing piece and it truly has been an honor facing off the past couple of times. Facing off against you definitely helped elevate my writing, as I know I had to bring my A+ game. Kudos to you and everything you give because you are a phenomenal writer and a good friend! I'm sure this isn't the last time we face off haha. This was such a phenomenal show top to bottom. The opening scene to further build the lore and highlighting Yuna was great. I think one of the parts I loved the most was the absolute insanity that was the deathmatch between Ayame and Tsutsumi. It was so chaotic and brutal but I couldn't get enough! Truly well done. Huge night overall for the Gaijin Assault Army! Congrats to Taggs (Anya) on the LWA Valkyrie championship win as well as Elizabeth Jones/Kanna for winning the #1 contender spot for the dual wield championship. The effort put forth by Scott, Dave, and Zelda in the main event was insane. All three of very talented writers and I enjoy reading every bit of it. You all put on a show and huge congrats to you, Cap , for winning the Interstellar Dream Championship. I look forward to facing off against you for what I feel like might be the first time ever? I don't know if we faced off in SGW or any other fed prior, but this will truly be an honor and one hell of a test. Amazing work, Josh!! And amazing work everyone in the RPs you all produced!

Hey, everyone.
Star Crossed Wonderland is in the books, another milestone event that I always planned but never really thought we'd get to. Now that it's over, I'm looking toward Battles Without Honor or Humanity with those same weary eyes.
I wanted to do some different things with Star Crossed Wonderland, some things that didn't fall strictly into the "sports based joshi puroresu" model. When one of the handlers gave their notice pretty soon after the card went up, that inspired me to do the return of TAWAGOTO-chan to tie up some loose ends and then, already amped from the ridiculousness of that, decided to do the multi-segment spanning brawl between Tsutsumi and Ayame. That, as well as the impromptu start to the match, was heavily inspired by classic ECW with a little FMW.
The tag title match was another mess that spun out of the sprawling deathmatch, culminating with an OZ Academy inspired brawl to blow off the interaction between Galaxy Defense Force and Shuko MURDER-gun for the night, complete with an Attitude Era kidnapping angle. So, yeah. This show was wildly different from all previous events, but it also started us off in the direction for bigger, wilder things. The opening lore segment is something I've had planned for a few months and I'm glad that Zelda trusted me enough to go wild and reveal Yuna Saito's backstory, which she wasn't even in on until I posted. The events of the opening and closing segments brought a little supernatural and/or anime flavor to the lore, which I thought might be polarizing but I enjoyed either way.
I'm really excited to bring you all to The Shrine. Getting here has been a slow burn. For those of you who only met me when MGP started up, The Shrine was first mentioned in a line of dialogue in the closing lore segment of February's Historic BIG BANG Evolution 2023. In the closing lore segment of Straight On 'til Morning in March, we learned a little more about The Shrine, REQUIEM, and what it means to Shiori Shuko. It was also there that we were first introduced to the Black Company and the Richard Rath character. Since day one, I've been slowly building to unveiling the REQUIEM concept, the Black Company, and the characters/aesthetic that comes with it.
Any of you confused by the talk of "reimagining" REQUIEM, that comes from the fact that I originally launched REQUIEM in 2021 as a real wrestler fed and it ran about two months before I pulled the plug on it. I wasn't in the right place mentally to run the place and there just wasn't enough support/interest to sustain the idea in real wrestler circles. I've always said since that REQUIEM was meant to be a created wrestler fed. In the time between, I thought of other ways to make REQUIEM work for me and a big part of that was launching Miracle Galaxy Pro, doing the slow build, and earning your trust-- earning the right to pull the trigger on some of REQUIEM's concepts. Having the opportunity and the support to use REQUIEM as the "big bad" in Miracle Galaxy Pro has been exciting and I can't wait to give you the full experience at Battles Without Honor or Humanity.
There were several matches on this show that could've gone either way... a few decisions I had to make that I dreaded. I'm continually amazed by the dedication and talent that you all possess. Without you and your effort, none of this would be possible and you all make it worth pushing through the tough times, the writer's block, and all the stuff that goes into making this hobby difficult.
@akari @chigusa @hanakanekox Welcome to the team! I can't wait to see how you all contribute to the ongoing and ever-evolving Miracle Galaxy!
@infinitox @oblivionscrush Thank you both for your CD efforts and participating in the STARGAZER. You racked up four wins total for Galaxy Defense Force with your efforts, which is awesome. You're both talented writers and I think you're going to fit in well here. If you need anything, let me know!
Aria Knight Cap princessz In my opinion, this is the strongest main event in MGP so far. It really could've gone either way which is a testament to the quality and effort involved when it comes to a match with more than one participant. Big congratulations to Dave for walking away with the win. You're one of the most talented writers I've encountered in all my years. That's not meant to take anything away from Scott or Zelda who are right up there as well. Don't be disheartened by the loss, big things are still to come for you and your factions and neither of you have seen your last main events. I will be shocked if this match doesn't walk away with the Match of the Mid-Year award.
heartkillers littlemissvex This one was tough to judge and, for the sake of the story, winning made sense for either team so there was no incentive to swing one way or another. It really came down to splitting hairs because Scott (we have 4 Scotts!) and Meg are such incredible writers. I honestly came away from judging this one feeling empty inside because I hated that either team had to lose. I even considered going with a draw to take the weight off my shoulders but decided to make the tough decision because it wasn't fair to the handlers to make a call just to benefit my feelings. Both of you are integral to your factions, you're integral to MGP, and I appreciate the opportunity to read your efforts every month.
Chloe Storm Nijima This is another one that was really hard to judge. Both of you put forth such a solid effort that it surpassed your match at Galaxy Princess Cup. I've known both of you for the better part of 20+ years and getting to see you work your magic in 2023 is such a pleasure. I had a feeling that the details surrounding the finish would go over like a lead balloon but I wanted to honor the Knockout or Submission stipulation without resorting to a "pass out" finish to save face. We've already discussed it in private, but I know if anyone can take that and fold it into their character and make it work, it's Anthony. As for Matt, you've punched your ticket to the Interstellar Dream title match at Without Equal in August... I know you and Dave are gonna kill it and ya'll aren't gonna make it easy on me at all. Good luck. You've earned this.
bonecrusher @sinclairgodfrey This was the debut of the LWA Valkyrie Championship in MGP and also the first-ever defense of the title since Godfrey won it. I was really impressed with your efforts and maybe we'll get to see you in MGP again one day. Shawn, you posted two of your strongest works with Anya so far for this match and it paid off. You've improved over and over again since the first event and if you keep going at this rate, I shudder to think of what you'll be capable of in another couple months. Keep punching up that character work and don't be afraid to get crazy.
@jessicakhaosspivey Diana Watts This match was an unexpected surprise and you both had your RPs up within 24 hours of the card going live which makes my life so much easier, lol. Spivey kind of fell backward into this match and had some concerns which I think were totally unwarranted. You gave as good as you got and losing to Diana Watts is nothing to be ashamed of. You'll get up, dust yourself off, and get right back on the dance floor. Like I said, win or a lose, a title match or any match against a strong opponent is great experience. As for Diana Watts, another strong title defense in the books and now you're set to face off against, possibly, your toughest challenge yet. I can't wait to see what you do for your match against Satterfield as there's so many interesting story possibilities.
Shinobu Tsutsumi wasabi The visual for this match amused me so much and I was honored to get to write it and present it the way I did. You're both creative as all get-out and dedicated to putting your characters over in inventive ways. Wasabi, you continue to improve and impress and I know you're just one great RP, one big win away from breaking loose and showing everyone what you can do. Jay, you're killing it as one of the key faces of Shuko MURDER-gun and I'm proud to have you representing them in such a pivotal role. Both of you are set for big things in the future.
@vastrix charity maddelinesatterfield blacktora I didn't realize you four were the only ones who showed for the battle royal until I started typing out names. Wow, lol. Well, it happened to be four people who went all out and tried to win, no half-ass efforts. Charity posted an RP which is always a pleasure. Satterfield came away with the win, sending her home with 10,000,000 Japanese yen and a guaranteed shot at her stablemate's title which is an interesting avenue to head down. I know you'll make the best of your opportunity. Matsuda, you walked away from the evening with a shot at the IIW Women's World Championship and I'm anxious to see your first one-on-one match with this character. Vastrix, you found yourself in a do-or-die situation, getting to go head to head with the former Interstellar Dream. I think your characters compliment each other well and should give you both something heavy to RP off of. Good luck to all of you.
azurinevebbins @jaclynpierrot This ended up being a really fun match to write and I love everything that happened in the post-match, as well as all the chaos that spun out of it. Azurine Vebbins is such a fun character and I really wanted to find a way to incorporate her more into what's going on. The angle with Colors of Victory offering Azurine a spot interests me and I hope you utilize that offer and the events of Star Crossed Wonderland to push yourself in some new directions. Pierrot gave her notice pretty soon after the card went up to focus on some other projects and I respect that completely. I really appreciate that you showed up and showed out anyway. Your contributions to MGP have been fun and memorable and the door is always open.
@brooke Thank you for participating in this match that spilled over from our rivalry in TPW. It was a lot of fun getting to finally blow that off on a big stage with some high stakes for your character. Another big thanks to Eric, the handler of Thundering Terry Marshall and owner of Thunder Pro Wrestling, who judged the match by TPW grading standards and allowed the use of Terry Marshall in results. I'm sorry that Terry got the Japanese throwing salt in his eyes for his trouble but that's just the risk you take when you come to Tokyo, brother dude.
Latoya Hixx Deena Hixx @craig ghost blacktora qqforyou Chelsea Skye atotracey Thank you for showing up and making this an exciting ladder match. If everyone had shown, I think it could've been anyone's ballgame. Unfortunately, Dwyer no showed and damaged Black Dahlia Legacy's chances of winning. Xia Layne had some personal issues arise (totally understandable) and that did in Shuko MURDER-gun. It really came down the to Hixx Family, Kanna/Jones, and Skye/Tasman at that point. Out of everyone who showed up, there wasn't a lackluster effort in the bunch and I'm looking forward to seeing what happens when Kanna/Jones meet the HEARTKILLERS at Without Equal in August. As for everyone else, there's plenty more opportunities around the corner. Black Tora's got a chance at the Celestial Trinity titles next month, LUNA's got her first-ever singles match coming up with some high stakes involved, the Hixx Family are also in a high stakes trios match, and Skye gets an opportunity to rebound in a lightspeed triangle match that could lead to something bigger in August. All in all, a while and unpredictable match that I'm honored to have gotten to judge and write.
At the end of the day, we only had three unexpected no shows for this cycle which is a big step up from the eight last cycle. We also had 34 roleplays, which is awesome. Thank you all for doing what you do, you're all valued, you all matter. Without you, the Miracle Galaxy ceases to exist.
If any of you need anything, I'm around doing anything but writing for a couple days but I'll be happy to help you in any way that I can!

Also want to thank Mark Romero for hosting the Five Star Mid-Year Awards. He's been killing it since MGP's inception, giving us a fun column and keeping things light in the discord while asking for nothing in return except for the head of Takayo Kotohiki, the one thing he can't have.

Great entertaining show, the brawl going through multiple segments after matches really surprised me and I love how it went down. Congrats to all the new champions, and the ones who retained!
The ending gave me lots to think about for the future when that new title is actually revealed and how Shinobu would react to the fact there's another violent Requiem title running around. Not to mention of course the big title switch that changes a lot for all MGP.
And good fight Ayame.

I took so long to leave full and proper feedback due to coping with the loss.
Nah I'm just kidding I was away for a bit and wanted to read the full show in comfort.
Holllleeee shit. I loved this I think something that is a bit understated is the fluidity of the results. Even though yeah there was one match that kinda ran through everything so it worked as an easier through line. Everything lead into the other and it felt really good like there was never really the hardest stopping points aside from the obvious opening and closing of shows. And nothing felt removed from eachother. I.E the chaos of the undercard lead into the main.
by the way good match Shinobu I wasn't sure how this would lead in but we did good.
I loved the brawling in the office scene because the cookie scene reminded me of the teacher from Battle royale.
